Spring Must Bes

There must be sunlight
in a land of Dreams
and when the shadows fall,
moonbeams.

There must be flowers
in a field of grain
and pathways always leading
home again.

There must be songbirds
singing in the breeze
and raindrops glistening on
the leaves.

There must be fountains
tumbling into pools
and goldfish swirling in
happy schools—

For somewhere
on a distant rugged hill,
the rainbow ends and finds
the Father’s will.

Carolyn, What a refreshing, simple, and beautiful poem. Our world and churches are so noisy. We need more art, and people, to be like this. Thank you
Carolyn, I really enjoyed this fresh and simple poem that eloquently captures the essence of spring, tracing its beauty all back to God the Creator.
